Delete your account

How to request deletion

In-app account deletion isn't available yet — it's coming, but for now you request deletion by emailing privacy@getstepgo.com from the email address on your account. We'll confirm once it's done. Get Step Go is a small operation, so this can take a few days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile and display name.
• Your group memberships.
• All of your daily step counts.
• Any step screenshots you've uploaded.
• Your messages in challenge chat.
• Any connected Oura authorisation, including its stored access and refresh tokens.

This is permanent

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once it's done, none of the data above can be recovered, and there's no way to get your account back.

What other members see

After deletion, the members of your groups will no longer see you in those groups or in past challenge leaderboards.
