Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Deeplogix, LLC. By using Get Step Go, you accept them. If you don't agree to them, don't use the app.

Eligibility

You must be 13 or older to use Get Step Go, or 16 where local law sets that higher age.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials to yourself and for anything that happens under your account. The display name on your account is visible to every member of the groups you belong to.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for anything unlawful.
• Scrape, crawl or otherwise extract data from the app in bulk.
• Try to bypass its security or access another user's data without permission.
• Harass, threaten or abuse another user, including in challenge chat.
• Falsify your step count by any means, including entering a number you didn't walk or uploading a screenshot that doesn't reflect your actual steps.

If you breach this section, we may suspend or remove your account.

Step counts are not guaranteed accurate

Your step count depends on your phone's sensors, your wearable, the third-party platforms that report it to us, and your device having a working connection. Any of those can be wrong, delayed or unavailable. As a result, leaderboards, streaks and challenge results can be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Don't rely on them for anything where accuracy matters in a way that has real consequences for you.

Not medical advice

Get Step Go is not a medical device, and nothing in the app is medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your activity level, especially if you have a health condition.

Your content

You keep ownership of the group names, challenge names, chat messages and step screenshots you create or upload. By posting or uploading them, you grant Deeplogix a licence to store that content and display it to the other members of your group — nothing wider. We don't use your content for marketing, and we don't license it to anyone else.

Third-party services

Get Step Go connects to Apple Health, Android Health Connect, Oura and Supabase, and each of those is governed by its own terms of service. If you connect an Oura account, that connection is also subject to Oura's terms.

Free service, and changes to it

Get Step Go is free today, with no adverts and no in-app purchases. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, and we'll give you notice before we do. The current position on advertising and purchases is also described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and termination

We don't guarantee the app will always be available, and features may change or be withdrawn over time. Either of us can end this relationship at any time. Today, you do that by deleting your account, which — until in-app deletion ships — means emailing privacy@getstepgo.com.

Disclaimer of warranties

Get Step Go is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Deeplogix's liability to you is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US$100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Where the law doesn't allow a limitation like this — for example, for our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, where that can't be limited — this section applies only as far as the law permits.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Deeplogix against claims arising from your breach of these terms or from content you post or upload.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, and any dispute arising from them will be heard in the courts of Texas.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change to these terms, we'll notify you before it takes effect, and we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
